ZPAQ files typically refer to compressed files with the ZPAQ extension, created using the open-source ZPAQ algorithm. This algorithm was developed by Matt Mahoney. Compared to algorithms used by other archives (such as ZIP, RAR, and 7z), ZPAQ offers a higher compression ratio, but its compression and decompression are much slower and require more memory. Furthermore, ZPAQ files are not common, and there are relatively few software that supports them, making them less convenient to use. PowerISO supports unpacking ZPAQ files or converting them to more common compressed file formats, like zip and rar.
To extract a ZPAQ file, please refer to the following steps:
Run PowerISO. Ensure you have PowerISO version 9.0 or higher installed.
Click the "Open" button on the toolbar.

In the "Open file" dialog box, select the ZPAQ file you want to open, and then click the "Open" button.

PowerISO will open the selected ZPAQ file and list the files and folders it contains. If the ZPAQ file is encrypted, PowerISO will prompt you for a password.

Click the "Extract" button on the toolbar.

In the "Extract" dialog box, enter the destination folder. Select other settings as needed, and then click "OK".

PowerISO will extract the files in the ZPAQ file to the specified folder. If you selected the "Open the folder after extraction" option, PowerISO will automatically open the target folder after the extraction is complete.
